While not referring to.West Indian cricket Usain Bolt said in a recent interview that all professional athletes have talent but it's those who work on their talent that become great. Talent alone can't take you to the top.

If our West Indian cricketers can learn that and realize that you have to work hard at the highest level we will be better. The talent at under 19 level is evident however beyond that the level of work needed to be great is lacking.

im sure subtly he was referring to WI cricket, in addition to individual athletes. its the only caribbean sport where there has been a downward trend since the beginning of the 90s. since that time, trinidad won caricom's first olympic swimming medal, jamaica dominated athletics to a degree not seen before or since, two caribbean countries qualified for the world cup among many other feats. WI cricket is the only sport where our batsmen used to average in the late 40s and 50s and now average under 35 without exception. the ones who average above that are out the team

Boy West Indies is like Babylon. From an empire to ruins. At least we can see the influence of medo-persia, Greece and Rome in this world. Babylon’s influence is nowhere. WI fall is a tragedy of legendary proportions, scarcely believable as late as 1990 when the team started to seriously show signs of aging. I never saw the WI in their pomp, hell I never even saw Viv or Richardson bat live but if anyone told me they thought in this year of our Lord 2024, the WI would be struggling to beat Bangladesh, I’d call them a liar

3 out of 4 innings at home they could not make 200 against the second weakest team in the world. That struggle done. This is surrender

That is what this MB is about....not paying attention to details.
