Many Trinidad peeps, and I can’t speak for the rest of the Caribbean but I find it hard to think why it’d be different, does go to the US, read New York, to have their chirren. All that will stop now.

No question, the incoming administration brings an uncharted dilemma. Whatever your beliefs are - Ruben Gallego is an example of the American dream, and it not an anomaly, it’s a general occurrence. And since you are asking for reasons, that is one, it’s a reasonable lure, and for many, a compelling one. It’s not for you, that is fine too.
