Seems like whatever was done to you either by the US Immigration- refusal of visa or deportation, or perhaps highly envious of your relatives or friends living in the USA, has sadly, made you into an angry, wishing ill for others living here, pretty sad of you man!

I do hope you get the peace everyone needs and deserves. I am sorry for what you apparently had to experience by the hand of US authorities, or the abandonment by your family/friends in the USA, but you should turn a new page and not wish ill of your US families and friends or those Non European Americans who choose to make this place their home legally.

BTW, Trump's mass deportation, if it happens is targeted to people who are not legally entitled to live in the USA- those who came in tourist visas and never returned home or those who cross the border illegally.

Sad as it maybe, after-all people lives are involved, every single country have similar laws and also deport people.

Perhaps disappointing for you, is the 18% of foreign born Americans, (for context in the year 1900, the share of foreign born citizens was 38%) cannot be deported, and they are not targets.

Its probably worth repeating - again - that I have no quarrel with the U.S. or the Caribbean folks who live there AND KNOW THEIR PLACE.

My issue lies with the delusional, sanctimonious misfits who consider themselves superior to Caribbean natives merely because they exist in the morally bankrupt, vile and racist America.

The unwelcome immigrants disparage our culture, their culture, daily pon here. denigrating all things Caribbean, blinded by the delusion that by living in the US - a country that doesn’t even want them - somehow makes them superior to those of us who live in the Caribbean by choice.

In all my life, I have never met any American of West Indian heritage that have been guilty of what you wrote. Then I was correct, it is your animosity with your friends and or relatives that you are upset with, thus your hurt and anger.

Many Trinidad peeps, and I can’t speak for the rest of the Caribbean but I find it hard to think why it’d be different, does go to the US, read New York, to have their chirren. All that will stop now.

What I have discovered over the years is that one of the greatest fears of migrants is the threat of being "sent back home" I always wonder, why?
