The press and stride...both use it but the leg is not near the line of the ball. They could nick off to keeper/slip

Lewis attempted w front foot drives off Rana. Both times backfoot was closer to the ball than front foot. So, he's playing from a squared instead of side on position

There hardly ever seems to be any improvement. Most of these guys are just too arrogant to realize that they need to keep working at their game.

Let's see how good our white ball batters are compared to our red ball batters

1 & 2 in this batting lineup are hit and miss batters, and Carty, while he seems to have some talent, is not ready for prime time. 4 is Hope, the only real batsman in the team. How are they going to win anything?

Most posters have made some very sensible posts about these two batsmen, so, I find it very strange that those in charge do not make those points clear to the batsmen.It appears very true,they are 6,4 or nothing,look at the difference with the Bangla openers and even further down looking for singles,we must now look for batsmen willing to do the job in a sensible manner,rotate the strike if boundries aare not freely available.DON'T LOOSE YUH WICKET LOOKING FOR BOUNDRIES

How much he got today? That is the problem. They are not consistent at this level..Rutherford is a breath of fresh air and look how long he was kept out by our visionary selectors. He had to ply his trade around the world in T10 and T20 leagues for years. So if either he or Hope fail, that is the end of that.
