Thanks for taking me down memory lane, I had goosebumps watching Seymoure, what a classy batsman.
I wanted something to happen to Lance's fingers when he played against Barbados.
Guyana vs Barbados was my biggest thrill.
Sir Gary was always ahead of all players, batting, bowling, bowling, and fielding.
It is almost sinful to compare with others.
Charlie and Wes remain close friends to this day.

I remember my grandmother listening to that series on the old Bush radio in the kitchen. I think that was my introduction to cricket. I remember my fascination with what could slips and cover mean!!! The commentary was so clear that you could picture in your mind Gibbs running in to bowl and Sobers at leg slip or forward short leg. That was classic West Indies in the 60s. Lovely memories.
