Plays too many sweep/unconventional shots for me. That's all.

I think it might be more on the mental side of things. He seems to be a good player but comes across as too deliberate. He made a fifty-plus score where he played a lot of sweep shots. He has clearly made up his mind on what sort of shots will be his scoring shots but has died on that hill a few times this series. He needs to go back tot he nets and rethink this strategy.

He could be exhausted from too much cricket in a short time period. I hope he tightens up he game

should have been put through a thorough A team tour acid test before he made the team......but we don't seem to think A team tours are important right now
