Carty, Jangoo and Rutherford...take a bow gentlemen. That was a very impressive performance by all three of these guys.
Amir Jangoo showed great maturity, composure and the ability to pace his innings after coming in when the home side could well have fallen well short of what was a record target. Other than his nervous scramble to get off the mark and one play and miss when on about 30, he played without risk and offered nothing. Yet dominated as he grew in stature. Rutherford has been in fantastic form, long may it continue. Well done, very well done.

Can you wait and see how they establish themselves.

Great knock by both, let's leave it there for now. Each time someone contributes an outstanding knock they are branded a WI savior.

Well, Rutherford has been in fantastic form with a string of good scores. Carty has 1000 ODI runs now, at an average in the mid-40s. He has shown he has the ability and temperament to perform at the highest level. Jangoo was superb, he looks a real talent with a great attitude.
These guys could well form a positive middle order for years to come...ya wanna piddle on the parade...go ahead, I will smile tonight at least

Smile away. Not often we get to do it.

Imagine, Holder, Hetty, Pooran, Hossein, in to make up de squad.
With the likes of Wickham, Imlach, Anderson, De Jewel, Athanaze,
Thorne, Blades, all in contention.
Scammy had a good lot to choose from.
I'm not convinced the Holder and Russell dunn yet.
But it is good to see the replacements coming of age.

Sad but true...hopefully, these guys will bring a few more smiles to our faces in the future.
