Canada wasn’t afraid of being governed by a woman when they elected one years ago. They acknowledged her qualifications, not her gender, for the job. Equal respect for all is what Canada stands for, no matter the color of your skin or religious beliefs.

From Australia.
Canada is not prepared to appease or tolerate Donald's arrogance, ignorance and vulgarity.
Other nations are doing the same. Their actions are to be applauded.

As a U.S. citizen, Trump is a total embarassment. Canada and Mexico are our neighbors, allies, and friends. Do what you must, but come back in 4 years, please. ❤

Trump has done something that has never happened in Canadian history. ALL Canadians are united in their contempt for Trump. We are ready for some tough times and won't be bullied by an orange buffoon.

Thank you Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and especially for standing up for women.

Alberta and Ottawa have been in the trenches for decades; there was a slogan when Trudeau was Prime Minister and Peter Lougheed was premier which stated, let them eastern Bastard freeze to death. Peter Lougheed, who was a statesman and a true Canadian, said to the people of Alberta the Eastern Bastard are our friends and family.

That statement and working with Trudeau cost him an election.
Ongoing fight between the Province and Ottawa.
Changes to AIMCo are more about spiting Ottawa than Albertans

The MP spoke about one of the old qualities of politicians on all sides who would have come together to denounce Trump's attacks on the Canadian PM, and the lies he spews all over the place about Canada. However, the present conservative leader, Pierre Poilievre, with only one motive in mind, winning, is joining with the propaganda spread, and would not defend the office he craves, as long as he is not holding. One of Trump's motives is to hurt Trudeau, he does not want Trudeau to win. His insults are geared toward assisting the Conservatives to win the soon to come Canada elections.

One of my dilemma too, is how people criticize Trump, yet the Conservative leader in Canada, very Trumplike in many ways is so popular in the polls, and is likely to win a landslide in the Canada's election just like Trump did in the USA. These conservatives, all over the globe, including Canada, have a way of adopting Trump style of lies, propaganda, smearing, character assassination, misinformation and still win the hearts of their local population; local populations who have eyes and ears to discern all Trumps. It is like people have lost their senses, like the ability to reason is lost even among the very best. The conservatives use Trump's tactics to create havoc, doubts and uncertainties in their countries. Many of the underlying ills among our societies are seeds sown by conservatives, like Stephen Harper. Yet, people only view issues today based on surface value. They promote the Trump's in their Caribbean or European states, and come on platforms and criticize Trump. It amazes me. And, the conservative are loud and vulgar in opposition, and they bewilder the population.
