He’s not the first and won’t be the last to be similarly selected

Give him a chance

Hush! It took 50 + years before T&T won a game v Bim at the Mecca including a year a cool baje lineup rolled T&T for 16.

Look at titiland now the hypothetical spiritual home of 'lickit' cow lashing and pelting lol

And? your cricket now is rubbish.,......barbados producing men who could only make associate sides and the few actually good ones go to england. you have a severely decomposed cricketing culture that produces rubbish

As a schoolboy watching Barbados vs T&T, I saw rubbish.
This twin island has produced five great international players in 100 years. Barbados still leads in the number of regional four-day tournament victories.
Barbados has produced one super international star in 25 years, Hayley Matthew, but T&T is still searching for a great one.

TT did produce a lot of rubbish. brian lara got used t playing under pressure because he was always coming in at 2-1 or 0/2.

This thread is about Blades ahead of Jangoo, what about Jangoo having to be contracted by the Leewards before playing for T&T
or a young Barbadian opening the inning for the Redforce ahead of the next young T&T talent?
Clean your mirror bro.

There are several players like Jofra Archer and Jacob Bethell on the island, while the BCA management is still operating as if it were the 1960s.

they don't play for the WI and their tertiary cricketing education was in england. they are more products of warwickshire and Sussex than barbados and the WI.

History will show Darren Sammy, Marlon Samuel and Carlos Brathwaite will be talked about with performance in the T20i more than any of the players mentioned.
You are confusing these guys' club performance, which only clubs benefit from.
These players were always missing at the international level, having Bigb, there was no use for another bit and pieces allrounder, which the other was.

West Indies legend Bravo retires from cricket

BBC called Dwayne Bravo a legend. I have never heard sammy, samuels and especially not that mascot RTN described that way. i purposely looked for an article exclusive of TT and india btw

yes a bits and pieces cricketer whose test career was ended by cwi in favor of two way inferior crickers: a spinner in a hurry and a 6'7 medium pacer who doesn't use his height with pretensions of batting

What is your problem with Bim players?

i have no problem with Bim players that are actually good and have earned their places. Shai Hope is a very good white ball player. all of the test players from barbados to debut since cameron came in did not earn their place and swallow seems extremely reluctant to get rid of them. kraigg probably has the worst average of any man who has played 185 innings. holder clearly is a spent force who you cannot rely on to take 5 wickets consistently or score runs in high pressure situations. his providence duck proved that. then there were rtn, miguel cummins, chase, hope. none of who had or have test returns that can even be deemed remotely respectable.

bajans have begun to rely on friends and associates to get places instead of actually working for them. and when that doesn't work out, protests, threats of lawsuits and general petulance is always an option as the anderson cummins affair showed

OK, but you come across bitter, listen we all would agree that Bim has not produce great cricketers like yesterday, but no region has produced cricketers like in the past.

TnT has their share of failed cricketers at well, your best in the last 25 years may be Michael Bravo and he for all the promise he had, his final numbers point to an avg player just like KB.
