A male teacher at Immaculate Conception High School in St Andrew was arrested today as part of an investigation into allegations of sexual activities with a student at the all-girls institution.
The Gleaner understands that the investigation is at a delicate stage; however, investigators assigned to the police's Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA) swooped down on the school today during a prize giving and made the arrest.
Parents have reportedly expressed concern over the incident as the investigation unfolds.
The St Andrew North police confirmed the arrest and indicated that several charges are pending.

Bro di school board didn’t know this was going on or an arrest was coming in di middle of prize giving.
I suspect t that a very angry parent or parents was/were behind di modus operandi.
And given the Catholic church’s history of cover-ups I certainly won’t blame the parents (if that is what went down).
