Da Silva scores second ton in Red Force trial

West Indies Test wicketkeeper Joshua Da Silva recorded his second century as the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force four-day practice match ended in a stalemate on the final day, at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain, yesterday.

Da Silva, who struck 166 in the first innings, smashed 128 yesterday to lead the Bryan Charles XI batting effort in the second innings as they posted 273 all out to set the Kamil Pooran XI an unlikely 422 for victory.

Pooran’s team just managed to survive to the close of play, reaching 164 for nine to deny Da Silva’s squad an outright win.
