Amir Jangoo and Anderson Phillips both get a chance to stake a claim
to the West Indies TEST TEAM against Pakistan, next year.

Jangoo and Phillips should make their play.
A weakened fast bowling attack, without the two Josephs.
link i wonder if rabada ,starc archer would have other "engagements" rather than play for their side on a tough test tour ?

Their heads do not need sorting out.

Will we see another Nkruma Bonner/Kyle Myers surprise?

or failure? That is what I am concerned about with Jangoo. Really happy for the young man to realise his dream to play for WI but have some concern about whether one year of success is sufficient. I would have let him follow this up with, hopefully, another good FC season and then make his debut v Australia on the basis that no doubt some of the incumbents on the test team will be released after the expected sub-par performance in Pakistan.

May have to wait to start, so not a bad idea to have him around. Natty always have time for ODI performers in my test squad.
Could be another case of a Jeff Dujon played first a batsman then taking the gloves. I’m sure he’ll make the test team as a batter for the first test then other things may develop from there.

Alick Anthanaze

Or Kavem Hodge?

To be honest, to what I saw with Alick playing spin bowling was like someone playing poker hoping that they have the lucky hand. I'd think Jangoo will replace him than somebody else in that batting line-up.

Alick has to refine when and how he plays
the scoop-sweep.
