He was very quick… quicker than anyone around in West Indian cricket at the moment… had an ‘unstable’ action… his front leg collapsed a lot & had too many moving parts ( if you know what I mean)…. Shame his natural pace in the end amounted to nothing.

Remember that well. The Jamaica cricket set up is not one that encourages or
fosters outsiders or those that emerge from non traditional historic route.
Had he not been spoken of by a non Jamaican ( I think Bishop) he would not
have been given a glimpse by those in charge.
Had at least one critical element of the trade...PACE... The other lacking factors
could have been developed. And age was not one of those as he had
a strong well developed body for the Tasks of a genuine fast bowler.
But operating in a backward environment that is Jamaica/WI cricket is
more than a challenge. Wuh Loss.

Two things abandoned after the administration change in 2019.......As Cameroon was ousted and Skerritt became president......
Leveridge....who tour with West Indies A to England in 2018..played Lions and India A.....was left in cold....
He was very big, well build,fast but injury prone....he did okay in that tour....but project Leveridge was abandoned...
Cornwall....He was under extreme weight management program...the then administration refused his selection despite Cornwall having tremendous 4-days regional....both with bat and ball.....This administration immediately, upon assuming power, selected Cornwall....
Both decisions proved poor...
