Changes galore as Imam gets recall for WI Tests
Pakistan have made several changes to their Test squad for the upcoming two-match series at home against West Indies, with the selectors opting for a spin-heavy attack. In total, seven changes have been made to the squad that just played in South Africa.
Following Saim Ayub's injury, out-of-favour opener Imam-ul-Haq has been handed a recall to the squad. Imam last played a Test at the MCG during Pakistan's tour of Australia in 2023-24 and has since been overlooked. However, with Ayub getting injured and Abdullah Shafique battling poor form, Pakistan will go into this series with a new-look opening combination with uncapped Muhammad Hurraira getting picked in place of Shafique.
