BTW, People who commit genocide cannot be trusted and and our government have lied and lied, and Convict Trump is full of hot air.
We will wait on the victims of genocide to tell us if the ceasefire is real.
Lots of posts about ceasefire. Seems to be some very promising progress on this front. Initial phase of a potential ceasefire is temporary- 42 days - to release some Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinians held by Israel. During this phase, if successful, the 2nd phase begins with more exchanges of hostages & withdrawal of Israeli forces from most of Gaza. This is critical and we will see whether the Apartheid regime will comply.
Gaza has been devastated and while families will be able to return to their homes - most will only find rubble & destruction. The trauma, pain, loss and devastation is still there no matter how many ceasefires.
Ceasefire is necessary but it has never been the goal of our fight. Stay focused. We need the siege lifted on Gaza, an end to the occupation and dismantlement of illegal settlements & a free and liberated Palestine.
I pray this ceasefire is real because our people need to breathe.
