A major fire broke out Thursday at one of the world's largest battery storage plants.
The facility — in Moss Landing in northern California — stores energy for general use as part of the state grid and is a significant part of California's clean energy efforts.
Officials in Monterey County said it caught fire Thursday afternoon, prompting evacuation orders for over 2,000 people. County officials said at a press conference Friday that the fire caused no injuries or deaths and that most of the fire is now extinguished.
Looks like Gov Newsom's resolve to 'Clean Energy' is challenged from various angles.

Commenting I. Matters you know not about. That's called talking Sh.. California is actually ran better than The Federal Govt. Provides more services to its residents and carriers a smaller % of. budget deficit. State homelessness is in part fueled by outsiders coming in knowing more social services are available plus better climate

Once again California is ran better than The Federal Govt Federal Govt has higher % of poor ppl than CA and would even be worse off if not for funds from CA. Larger %middle class in CA than most of the rest of CA. Where feds and other states don't assist citizens with healthcare,, nutrition,, education etc. California does.
