If Darren had continued, he would have scored at least 150 on that track.

Best against any type of bowling is Sir Kraigg 'Slow Poke' Brathwaite.

De man is a genius against spin... he did things Lara dreamt of doing.

Kraigg does make Gary Sobers look like Courtney Walsh…..such is his breathtaking genius. The range of his strokeplay is beyond the comprehension of mere mortals

I know that Daren Bravo is approaching 36 years of age but personally, I would have done everything possible to mend bridges and get him back into the test side a while ago. His talent has been sorely missed. Sad state of affairs.

CWI have too much pride for that. Steve Waugh said the first time he saw Sarwan, it reminded him of Gregg Chappell. Look what they did to him. People trying to cuss out Swallow and Skerrit. They inherited a toxic organization which I think they have done very well under the circumstances. They have not been perfect, but it is absolutely nothing compared to the idiocy of the Cameron, Hunte and Hillaire years. Those two administrations set us back 70 years in cricket

Sarwan remains one of my favourite batsmen to watch. When in form, there was a silkiness about his play that was amazing. He was the perfect foil for Lara's brilliant but belligerent strokeplay

Jordan had his Pippen, Ambi had his Walsh and Lara had his Chanderpaul, and Sarwan big grin

Sarwan is probably one of three players to master Murali at his peak: Lara, Thorpe and Sarwan. And unlike Thorpe, he didn’t labor through it. It was domination. That hundred in the oval is one of the best innings I’ve ever watched.

I remember the 2009 series, I had ducked university to watch the first and last day. On the first day, Sarwan, who already had scored over 500 runs for the series, was fielding at the boundary, and it had men telling him how their daughters were single and blah blah blah.

This is why I continue to harp on Chris Gayle’s team. We had a rell good thing going on there. I doh know how them dunces in CWI/WICB/WICBC didn’t see the same thing that everyone was seeing. Yes we lost to a great SA team but that team performed creditably in every series they played save that one. We lost a massive opportunity. And people saw something was building that’s why they came out to the games. The oval for that final test of that England series was full for the first four days and was almost full for the final day which was a Tuesday. But when all you can see is the perimeter of your own tiny territory, then you’ll never see the big picture

If Bravo had played the last 4 years imagine his avg would be approaching -15, here are the facts, we all can agree that KB is not the most talented batsman, he has a career avg of 33.00. Darren Bravo is the most talented batsman accordingly to many of this mb with a Bradman avg of 36.00.

no.....i studied electrical engineering first dummy. i passed all the math courses, but wasn't good at any of the electrical, electronic or programming courses and dropped out. I completed business admin degree afterwards but quality jobs were difficult to come by so i decided to study civil engineering, which is a lot more agreeable

kb is talentless and clearly does not work hard on his game. there have been players of limited talent who have made the most of their limited talent and gotten even more out of it because of hard work. Steve Waugh, Misbah ul Haq, Andrew Strauss, Alastair Cook etc. Certainly not people who people would pay money to watch, but they all average over 40 and ul haq, cook and waugh average over 45. kraigg is comfortable because nobody is holding him accountable for poor performances. kraigg went to county cricket and was dismissed twice in one day....nothing could encapsulate incompetence more than that

A couple of months ago , you said that Calc was giving you trouble, if you pass all the maths requirement as a pre-eng student, you would have completed all your maths courses for any Engineering discplines.

Anyway good luck with your CE studies.

i don't recall that and if something give you trouble, i don't believe that's a sign of incompetence and i did pass the course. I actually applied for exemptions but was told too much time had elapsed to get one

Absolutely! And they worked well as a trio too. If Sarwan and Lara didn't have a big partnership, then Lara and Chanderpaul would do. If Lara failed, then Sarwan and Chanderpaul would combine (like in the 418 chase, 4th innings chase against SL, and many other occasions.) Gayle and Sarwan also went big at the top of a few occasions.

Century partnerships are few and far between these days.

Lara and Sarwan actually had more bigger partnerships than the lara/chanderpaul combo. In 58 innings, lara and sarwan had 12 century partnerships. for some context, tendulkar and dravid top that list, and batted together in 143 innings.....and only had 20 century partnerships
