Sarwan or one the rubber stamp at GCB need to explain to the public why Ashmead Nedd is not in that squad.

Why are they picking both Adams and Permaul? At least one of them should be at home relaxing.

Nedd should be the first choice in that inexperience squad.

It has to be a Guyanese who thinks 7 is 5.

I read the squad roster and was wondering if Nedd was injured or is somewhat engaged…

No he is not. He is contracted by the GCB.

They got a new bunch at the Academy. Nedd played in the trial matches and he even did the fitness test yesterday.

Someone needs to explain his omission.

Obviously, we hope that some of the younger players can step up and make a difference. Personally, I will be watching Isai Thorne closely, along with Nandu, Chanderpaul and Anderson.

Looks an inexperienced squad but it presents opportunities for players like tage/ kevlon/ thorne to get selectors attention. Nandu has never really convinced me but he could change my mind this season. The bowlers will have an uphill task. Good luck to them.
