Good Bye DEI

WI_cricfan 2025-01-23 20:48:55

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered:

Section 1. Purpose and Policy. The Biden Administration forced illegal and immoral discrimination programs, going by the name “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI), into virtually all aspects of the Federal Government, in areas ranging from airline safety to the military. This was a concerted effort stemming from President Biden’s first day in office, when he issued Executive Order 13985, “Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government.”

Pursuant to Executive Order 13985 and follow-on orders, nearly every Federal agency and entity submitted “Equity Action Plans” to detail the ways that they have furthered DEIs infiltration of the Federal Government. The public release of these plans demonstrated immense public waste and shameful discrimination. That ends today. Americans deserve a government committed to serving every person with equal dignity and respect, and to expending precious taxpayer resources only on making America great.

and Hello Merit

I suppose merit is the ensuing nepotism handing down generational wealth and authority acquired from as far back as slavery. In other words...keep control of everything to one small group of people..and all others must be underlings.

Do you know and understand that DEI principles ended slavery and apartheid and indentureship? You don't understand what he meant by 'black jobs' ?? Are you an idiot...genuine question???

Merit my ass. It has never been about merit.

You've posted some nonsense on here, but this might be the worst yet.

I'll share a story with you.

I started my career as a ("hard-nosed") Computer Programmer back on May 10, 1976 in Jamaica, and continued said career after migrating to the US in April, 1980. In the US, I first worked for a manufacturing company in Brooklyn, then a large Realty and Construction company in Manhattan, before moving on to a Software Company on Long Island (Great Neck) where I moved through the ranks into management. A new (Jewish) guy came in at the Director Level, and after getting familiar with the surroundings, and comfortable with me specifically, he ventured to ask me the question, "How comes everywhere I've worked, the best programmers, the ones who really know their sh*t, are always black?". I wasn't prepared/ready for such a question, so it took me a little while to respond, but eventually I said, "The white ones could be just as good, but we never get to find out because as soon as they exhibit some potential they're promoted into management, while leaving the black ones to continue honing their skills.".

That usually talkative guy became silent and even chose to leave work early that evening.

You notice that the powers that be never touch institutional practice such as legacy admissions.

What languages were you programming in then? I believe C and C++ were the most popular then, if memory serves me well. I still have a box with the C++ disks in them…cumbersome FORTRAN and assembly language were what we use in computer science studies then.

Good old COBOL and RPG on the IBM/370, IBM/360, System/3, System/38, AS400, HP3000 (/Spectrum), and DEC-Vax where we used the original Ritchie and Kern C. Of course we moved on to C++ (which I hated), and finally to C#.

Wasent Java developed almost exclusively for Sun Microsystems, which made it somewhat Proprietary software --- at least that’s how I viewed it years ago - could have been wrong...

Nice post I prepared in reply to Drapsey gone! Evaporated, not to ever be again, probably gathering at the river!

FORTRAN and assembly language

Replete with Hollerith punched cards. Not just for CompSci, boss, but even running electronics simulations too! Yuh salt if the deck drop! Those were the days, my friend. LOL.

JavaScript, but not 'raw' Java, which is really a variation of C#, developed to compete with Microsoft's offerings.

There was no LOL in dat bro – happened to me a few times… the other thing was Students didn’t even see the computers. You hand you deck of punch cards and pick up your printout next day and find out it all jibbrish…and you have to start all over.

While I was learning that stuff, I used to work at Track-Price-Plus (headquarters on Orange Street) on race day evenings doing bets calculations. To impress my colleagues and everyone else interested, I used to carry a bunch of the punch-cards and lay them out on the table. Questions galore.

I don’t care for the DEI but it has always been those who have the gold make the rules!

Trump said one thing that I strongly believe - the system is rigged!

VIX 2025-02-03 12:52:36

Oh shites! Misfits! Assemble!

The echo chamber must get together to vilify this evil doctor!!! How dare he???!!! evil

A French gynaecologist has been barred from practising for a month because he refused to examine a transgender patient on the grounds that he was only qualified to treat “real women”.

Dr Victor Acharian was accused of transphobia after he turned the patient away in August 2023, and LGBT groups lodged complaints.

In December he appeared before a disciplinary board of the French Medical Council and he has now been suspended for a month from March 1, with an additional five months’ probation.

Thankfully a selection of his MEDICALLY TRAINED PEERS had a say in this and not echo chamber politicians and bedroom-based social media ‘heavyweights’ big grin

Why Musk want to stop these programmes the echo chamber supports so much?
Misfits, gather again!

1. "$1.5M to advance DEI in Serbia's workplaces."

2. "$70k for a production of a DEI musical in Ireland."

3. "$47k for a transgender opera in Colombia."

4. "$32k for a transgender comic book in Peru."

What percentage of any budget (US or DEI appropriated) is that? If they were going to use it to house the veteran under the underpass rather than hand tax cut to billionaires then...
