It is difficulty to blame our batting with such an atrocious pitch. This is an awful match and series. To see how bad this is Pakistan with some truly exciting fastbowlers are not playing any and their batsmen are are posting subpar totals.

Two wickets each for Roach and Motie....

Excellent diving catch by Kemar Roach but at a cost. He seems to have hurt his groin taking that one. Warrican finally in the wickets column as Pakistan lose their fifth wicket with 119 on the board, still trailing by 44 runs yet the key man Rizwan is still there on 43*

Fantastic delivery by Warrican deceives the well set Rizwan and the key man for the home side departs for 49, Pakistan now 130/6. Regulation stumping for Tevin Imlach, who makes no mistake.

A pair of wickets each now for Roach, who remains off the field, Motie and now, Warrican.

Warrican strikes again with another beautiful drifting delivery. Pakistan lose Noman Ali for 0, Pakistan now 130/7.

Motie returns and strikes again, a quicker one this time bowls Salman for 9, Pakistan, trailing by 17 runs are 146/8. That ball kept low, probably caught a crack on the way through.

Next ball so nearly brings another, tough chance put down behind the stumps almost sees the end of Abrar first ball.

Great stuff late in the evening !!!!

Warrican turns it square with an unplayable delivery that would have beaten much better batsmen than Abrar, who somehow, survives again.

Few balls later, he gets him! Bowled slogging across the line and Pakistan are now 149/9, Warrican takes his fourth wicket.

Good effort by Motie, Roach and Warrican with both bat and then Motie and Warrican with the ball.

Don't forget the contribution of the elder statesman Kemar Roach

He made a very useful 25, then sent both Pakistan openers back finishing the innings with 6-1-15-2. His catch to dismiss the well set Saud Shakeel, was also superbly taken. Unfortunately, it may have caused him a groin injury. We will have to see how he is tomorrow.

Just why Kraig had to stay in. More experienced. Understands how quickly any lead can all fade away. As far as I am concerned, Kraig Brathwaite career as a test cricketer should be over. 99 test matches with a 33 average. Probably the lowest average for an opener playing that number of test matches in 148 years of test cricket.

This makes it all the more enjoyable for me. I believe that teams should always have a degree of advantage when playing at home, the green tops for England & New Zealand, pace and bounce in Australia & South Africa etc. but Pakistan have taken that theory to a whole new level. That they were beaten on such a spin friendly surface by the team renowned for being so fragile against spin...is utterly hilarious!

Not quite but it is close. England in early spring is not nice conditions for players from the Caribbean, wrapped up in layers of sweaters, nor is this time of year in the Punjab though...cool mornings especially. These spin friendly tracks Pakistan has produced are too one sided against the batsmen, even though it makes for exciting viewing. Games over in two days or two days and an hour is not exactly ideal...yet better than a dull draw on a featherbed!

This means that WI and Pak swap places in the WTC: WI to 8th and Pakistan down to 9th.
