That is the definition of Murderers Row.

I remember being at Primary school and everyone talking about Hanif Mohammed" 's triple, it was erased two tests later with Sir Gary 365 not out.
Thanks for posting that test, that is the beginning of my cricket history, it started during the 1957 tour to England.

That series is important to me because of a conversation I had with the late, great Conrad Hunte…as you will recall, the course of history was altered when Hunte was runout for 260 in a partnership of 446 with Sobers who went on to make that historic 365*….
Hunte told me that there was no way he or Sobers were going to be dismissed on that wicket….the Pakistani bowlers were tired and the pitch was as flat as a pancake..they were pushing and jogging singles with consummate ease….the Pakistanis had just brought on a substitute fielder who was as fresh as a daisy..and Hunte pushed the ball close to him as he had done countless times before…before he could blink the fielder swooped and picked up the ball and threw down the stumps with Hunte short of the crease….the rest they say is history…
RIP to a legend Conrad Cleophas Hunte…it was a privilege to have been in your presence…and to have benefitted from your encouraging words….

The entire team looks phenomenal…. But Sobers will always be my favorite player followed by Kali and Viv.

Collie Smith was a beast. Sobers paid Collie huge tribute for his (Sobers) greatness. He attributed much of his drive for success to the inspiration and memory of the legendary Collie. Some reckoned Collie was better than Sobers. They were both all-rounders without equal at the time of Collie's untimely transition. They could pass for brothers in looks and the way they rolled together.
