They're playing on the one that's good for batting... this one always play good.
De others are low and slow.
In reply to anthonyp
Did you watch Thorne bowling yesterday?
Maybe I’m imagining things but there seems something different in his bowling action ? … unfortunately he didn’t bowl very well either way.
The last few times I’ve seen Thorne bowl he has looked mediocre… he worries me.
How much Tage mek?
In reply to granite
Above average
In reply to robbo
Didn't get to watch yesterday, but based on his numbers it looks like he was ineffective.
It's a flat deck too.. not much in in for the pacers so I will give him a pass.

i said nothing of the sort all i said guyana was getting licks if you keep producing bs pitches you going get substandard players.

He’s so used to teams struggling to reach 150.
I see positives in the partnerships out in the middle in both innings so far.

In reply to Narper
That is not true i rarely mention anything guyana related outside of cricket . you seem to have problems with me critisizing guyanese players .i remember you had problems with me saying permaul was not a international cricketer which he was not.or hety or someone else.
Fortress Providence
Liking what I'm seeing from these young Guyanese batsmen. Pretty impressive so far.
We need our batsmen to make hundreds and put pressure on the returning Test players to come home and perform.
Harpy Eagle batting showed-up. All batters contributed…
This a Bim v Guyana match of yesteryear. This where our test batsmen used to come from.
Hard luck Savory... gone for 99.

In reply to Kay
Innings break.
Guyana Harpy Eagles need 77 runs to win.
Remember a few years ago Bim bowled us out for 60+ to win
It looks like poor batting, the pitch still looks good to bat on.
SOS for Warrican!
In reply to Kay
Richie around for a while... if they give him a decent run in the XI he could be useful with bat and ball.

Good win.
In reply to Narper
Tage must continue.
Trouble for the Guyana selectors.. who will they drop for the next round?
These guys will be available for the next round....
Imlach
Sinclair
Motie
Shamar (might be available)
Look like these guys will have to sit..
Perez for Imlach
Adams for Sinclair
Injured Thorne for Shamar
Permaul for Motie?
In reply to anthonyp
Shamar is priority, he plays
Sinclair can sit, still don’t know why he’s playing tests
Permaul can make way, fella was bowling some very quick spin with no effect.
Injury replacement makes it easy for the other
In reply to anthonyp
Permaul need to warn the bench…
In reply to Raskil
If Shamar is unavailable they should consider young Thaddeus Lovell.. will strengthen the batting and bowling.
He took the most wickets in the trials, for pacers. He's similar to the likes of Shepy, Keemo etc.
Sinclair will play because he is a 'Test' player... his cousin in my opinion is a far better player, it's a pity he can't get a chance in the XI. In the trial matches he took a 5fer and scored a ton.
Don’t change no winning team!!!
In reply to Raskil
Like you all forget Sinclair can bat!
Well it looks like Motie is unavailable... made his debut in the ILT 20 this morning.
In reply to anthonyp
Motie selling out, playing for Knight Riders!
In reply to anthonyp
Lovell is an attacking batsman, another one primed for the modern game.
I like the talent Guyana has been producing in recent times. All bowlers can contribute with the bat as well.
In reply to StumpCam
Sinclair better choose one because he ain’t doing much of either.
Junior Sinclair deserves a chance.
Guyana will soon be able to field two teams in first class competitions.
We’re the BCCI of the West Indie$$$
that last comment made me laugh
In reply to Raskil
Barbados virtually has 3 teams in every regional competition
Barbados
CCC
West Indies Academy
In reply to imusic
They would be smartly advised to go the other way and take all three to make one unbeatable team.
In reply to Raskil
Heard some news from the Guyana camp... a few guys are struggling.
- Smith got a toe injury... will most likely miss the next round.
- Thorne is out, Shamar is fit and will be his replacement.
These are the planned changes for the next round...
1. Lovell making his debut.
2. Imlach replacing Nandu (based on Perez last three innings he scored 2 fifty and a 40+ so it's hard to drop him)
3. Shamar in for Thorne
In reply to anthonyp
Any idea what Thorne’s injury is Anthony?
In reply to anthonyp
Good call on Perez.
I wouldn’t even mind Tage sitting for Nandu, at this level given his experience Tage should be firing like Blackwood.
