His run up and action looks similar to Jofra Archer. To my eyes at least.

He's got some pace too.

I would love for him to get a bag full of wickets in this comp and force his way into the West Indies red ball team.

He, Shamar, Alzarri, Seales, and Roach in that squad would be great for the Test team.

WI doesn’t know how to spot and develop talent. From 2015 I said Chemar was a better talent than Alzari.
Said he should always be in Bim’s squad and if not beg either RSA or Oz to put him in their system. A pacer whose delivery “kisses’ the pitch at length always more dangerous than one who bangs it in whether on length, short or back of

Dude Chemar had a serious injury that kept him out of cricket for a long time.

Barbados and CWI abandoned him... couple years ago his family along with Carlos Brathwaite took him to England to work with a specialist. Thanks to that speed camp he's back and bowling at decent pace again.

Let me see if I find the video of the training camp... think they made a mini documentary about it.

“Read” nuh man? All the things I suggested were in 2015! When did he get that serious injury? There were periods of activity when B’dos nor any other WI franchise had him in a squad. Form is not all

He don't get nobody out ... He's not that quick, McAllister is faster and more menacing. We like him because of youth cricket; not a coachable fellow.

mccalister can't bowl two balls in the same place before the first injyry holder had men hopping at the crease hope he can get back to that pace and aggression

At one stage Chemar Holder and Oshane Thomas were being seen as future West Indies pace prospects, looks as far away as ever at the moment.

Chemar Holder is looking better. After his long, long journey back to full, or at least near full fitness, he will need to be carefully managed but even in the second innings of the match against Guyana, he looked to be bowling with nice rhythm and decent pace. He is almost 27 now, so the time to make the step up to become an international class bowler is upon him. If he makes that step, he will have done so having gone via a long and difficult road. His solitary test cap will have been a proud moment but I am sure he would like to add to that.

Thomas had real pace but after working on his approach and action, he seemed to lose a bit of his speed for the sake of being more accurate. However, his overall fitness has been an issue since he burst onto the scene. Several better, younger bowlers have certainly forged ahead of him with regards to representing the West Indies and it would take something special from him now to get back in the reckoning.
