The Jamaican Girls U-17 team that beat St. Kitts (6-0) last night is the best female youth team (any age group) I have ever seen. Technically solid, crisp passes and great counter. I would love to see them against one of the top teams in the region that moves the ball at a faster pace.
The #7 Ella Provost-Heron (EPH) should be drafted into the senior team right now! She has more to offer than Jody Brown as a wide player. She got hurt during the meaningless portion of the game and this may impact her appearance/performance in the crucial encounter against hosts Nicaragua on Saturday evening. There are a few others who show admirable touches, however, EPH is a gem!
