Fella resorted to name dropping
The West Indies skipper…
Spreading fear.
Sorry I’m making a mountain out of the Barbados team.
Apologies once again.
In reply to Raskil
Here is Guyana squad for the second round.... yuh think they stand a chance with the greatest opener in WI history is in the Bim squad?
Imlach, Sinclair and Shamar in...
In reply to Raskil
The Caribbean champion never asks for a rematch.
We win more than we lose.
We have won 11 more titles than Guyana.

The next game is a soft target. Is anyone brave enough to drop Tage, shift the order to bring in Junior Sinclair into the setup?
In reply to imusic
How can any West Indian not respect Barbados cricket.
23 win and I tie
If we were as cocky as the Dallas Cowboys fans, we would call ourselves the Caribbean Regional Champions.

Chemar injury is the reason for him not playing every match.
I check Raymond Reifer stats today, the guy scored one ton in 101 FC games, can you believe someone had the balls, to bat him at #3?
In reply to openning
Absolutely....
Reifer prospered as effective player playing at 6-7 for Guyana.....his performance got him selected for West Indies.... subject to correction.....it was in test cricket, he was promoted to bat at no.3. ....... madness at its peak...failed....but same tactics by Barbados management......
As for Reifer, he is hard working, whole hearted player...tried to grab, whatever opportunities he got..at 3 or else....but with Greaves, Holder and few others....his maroon days are over....

The Guyanese Selectors will have an interesting choice to make, will they select both Sinclair and Looknauth for the match, also, what is Junior Sinclair specialty, the last match he did not bowl.
In reply to dayne
Junior Sinclair did not play in the last match so how will he bat or bowl?
Kevin and Looknauth will play in the same XI.
The only concern is Nial Smith with a toe injury. If they choose not to risk him, Lovell will make his debut.
These will be the changes
Imlach in for Nandu (Tage and Perez will open)
Shamar for Thorne
Sinclair for Adams
Lovell for Smith (if he doesn't recover)

that was tongue in cheek, right? With Anderson, Imlach, Savory and Sinclair, Guyana have a very solid middle order. That said, a re-match between Bim and Guy would be enjoyable.
In reply to Onionman0
In Perez last three innings at the FC level he scored two 50s and a 40+.
Perform of be dropped... Nandu numbers aren't that good. So unfortunately he will have to sit this one out.

Dude there's more than enough batting in the Guyana lineup.
This will most likely be the XI
1. Tage
2. Perez
3. Imlach
4. Anderson
5. Savory
6. Kevin
7. Looknauth
8. AliMohammed
9. Lovell
10. Permaul
11. Shamar
From 7 to 11 are more than capable with the bat... young Lovell is a good all-rounder in the making. Similar to guys like Keemo and Shepy.
In reply to openning
But wasnt his one ton when he batted at 3 or fairly high up the order?
In reply to openning
I hope you are right about managing Chemar's workload because it would be short sighted to drop him dor perfor.ance. Stats aside he was one of the better bowlers and beat or took the edge frequently. He is a much better option than MacAllister. Glad to see Simmonds may get a chance though. He needs to play before he loses interest
In reply to Logic
The same happened last year, I am only assuming that is the reason.
In reply to anthonyp
in which world Tage plays in front of Nandu, Tage needs to be drop from this team it will be a much better squad
