He's making a lot of sense.

I remember when Hingland tries to teef Shai Hope.

Why can't we at least invite these players to compete in the red ball set-up?

Windies administrators can't think.

The reality is that Jamaica needs to go it alone…West indies as a concept is dead

I agree 100% with recruiting diaspora cricketers.

Miles Bascombe will be on the show this week. I'll ask Santokie to get his opinion on this.

i have no problem in principle with recruiting Diaspora players but question whether any of them would want to play for what is currently a failed Brand. The reality is that any of them could have approached their territorial boards to express an interest but none has. I am sure that WICB did not go to Australia to find Brendan Nash or to UK to find Gordon Greenidge but these guys came home and expressed an interest to play for us and the rest is history. For me, it is probably equally as or more productive if we were to look closer at home to the wider Caribbean region, Surinam and Haiti are Caricom members. BVI, Bahamas, Turks and Cayman are seriously under represented at WI level. I dont know if we also are able to recruit from Dom Republic and Cuba which both have a history of baseball and so skills that may be applicable to cricket.
