Lead dis yah wagon wid a Mindley haul.
Leewards choose to field
Campbell and Brow n open the batting
J. Louis bowling
Lawks dem commies real vexed dat Thomas is playing
In reply to Chrissy
Rightfully so. It’s up to him to make them eat crow. Cameron Pennyfeather is not express paced but he exhibited great control with the ball in the first match and seems to be a potential all round talent as he bats too. Also there is a quick from St Maarten/Anguila Landefort who was axed from the squad.
Oshane needs to step up.

All yours, VOR!

CAMPBELL - on 79 in the first innings of the first match, he is the team captain and what example does he set, he plays a stupid shot. Fast forward to today, on 29 plays a stupid shot again.
There's an opening slot available on the Test team, there are some calling for a change in captaincy, his captaincy (the above aside) has been spectacular. I would think long and hard before i bestow any of the two need upon him. UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!

You (Leeward) have two of the better spinners in the region and you win the toss, I think batting first then giving your bowlers a chance on a Day 4 wicket would be best. Just the same, early days yet.

There is no way the legspinner not having a bowl with over 40 overs gone.
Barnes does not look the part either..c'mon Campbell give the youth a ball.
Should have got it too as soon as Hammy got to the wicket.
In reply to JoeGrine
Seen a few more than questionable decisions...Still can't figure out why Brown was given in the first game,
2nd innings. McKenzie's look doubtful too..an off spinner pitching leg stump should
not be claiming a wicket as with the turn the ball can only be headed 5th stump onside.
Not only Yard batters that have been pained by this.
However it is very costly to have DRS, especially for a 'pretend-to-have-money ' Board.
Players got to live with it or call on MUSK to finance
Is there anyone else wondering why Redwood has not bowled as yet? I know he does not have the beat control but he took even wickets last time and he should have bowled a few overs by now I think.
Lawks Beckford - dat should have been a run
out. Focus kid.

The worse of the lot was the McKenzie "out" on yesterday and yes, in the previous match his out was questionable. In the age of DRS we tend to be a bit more harsh on umpires, however, it is a tough task. Here's to hoping they get it all right.

Yes the catching let them down badly and the guy to be feared,Hammy, he is a good cricketer
steps up as usual. Would have liked for Campbell to use Redwood with a harder ball at him
when he came in and was not yet settled. But the poor catching has put the LI in a safe
position and looking for more batting points.
Was focused more on the Guyana-Schoolers game.Pacer Shields was quick and menacing at times
and for the first time in 2 games I saw some real pace. Still has much to learn though as he is
a late starter at this level and he is no spring chicken either.
Chrissy was right
Mindley did take wicket(s) today

Wow what a way to get out on 93! An Umpiring blunder! Clearly daylight between bat and ball. Unbelievable!

It was a rank long hop! Thank you Campbell. Oshane is still Oshame until he proves me wrong! Even Barnes' dismissal was Barnes playing on. He has bowled better this 2nd innings but coming from how he is bowling that is nothing to write home about.

Mark my words, John Campbell is going to partner with our Skipper the next series. Louis needs to go back and put in some work at finishing school and come again. In case you are thinking that am a prisoner of the moment, I stated that Campbell was the player I was most curious about in this competition and he has not disappointed so far...

The Jewel 62* should help his average. Need a 40+ average.
Aljo and Greaves will be back so interesting to see who sits for them. I would think Oshame and Colin Archibald.
In reply to voiceofreason
The 1st one was a no-brainer for you.
In reply to FanAttick

In reply to voiceofreason
Hard on Archibald he's been consistent.
But the good thing is that the team has good options.
Congratulations Team. Good win
And another one.
Next Up Red Force
The JEWEL
In reply to positiveg
I agree its a tough call regarding Archibald but Greaves can bowl a bit and of course he is the more accomplished batsman.
In reply to Drapsey
No- brainer for anyone with a brain.
In reply to granite
He was lucky- a no ball saved him early.
Still he has shown promise
In reply to voiceofreason
Yeah, my thing though is that you don't want to bring back players and mess with the chemistry.
In reply to positiveg
I understand but these two players are match- winners and are already familiar with the squad, one who has actually captained the team. I like Colin too but he is not going to blast anyone out with his bowling and I am not sure if his batting is at the point where we could say its consistent enough to say he is good enough to keep his spot at that alone. Greaves is a proven batsman at this level and his bowling is handy. I also prefer Aljo the Captain.
