Hot mess is an understatement. I saw them against Jamaica and was appalled at how bad they were in every phase of the game. There is a huge gap in talent between them and teams like Trinidad, Guyana, Leeward and Jamaica. I knew Trinidad would only need to bat once and the game would not last four days. My friend in NY predicted that they will have no answers against the Trini spinners and that is exactly how it played out.

I also think it was agood idea to keep JMo as a mentor,it seems to be working for the younger batsmen, just look at Cooper,Goolie and Jangoo they should all learn to keep a level head,Webster also got some runs.

How long is the WWI preparation camp before the first-class season? It looks like the basics need to be practiced more, poor fielding, poor batting is the reason why they are not doing well. It looks like the CCC and the WIA are better teams this season.

and to think that they were challenging for the championship until the last round last year.

Still have 4 more games left Barbados, WIA , CCC and Guyana. All is not lost for the Windwards. Hopefully Athanaze will be back for the 3rd round as the team lacks experience.

How do you handicap the field when everyone is at full strength ? Am making you responsible for setting the odds at Vegas...

I think that TT is probably at its strongest for years. The match against Leewards should be the best of tournament to date if both sides play to full potential. I think that Silva should open and let Goolie play in his natural No. 3 position followed by JaMo and Jangoo. The match up of Seales v Aljo; Cariah v Walsh; Cornwall v Charles; Jangoo v Jewel is very appetizing. I wish I could have gone to St Kitts for one of the days.

Wwi poor in captaincy...
Melius lead the team to 2 victories ...was replaced as captain n drop for the four game last year...

I always believed that they were unfair to the.young man ....

Wwi volcanoes have not done well since....Melius was short on runs ...yes....but employed better tactics in the field than his replacement

WWI bowling has gone from ordinary one week ago to very good. Field placements from conservative to attacking.

The pitch is too flat and slow to produce a good contest. Still 2 days left I guess the Trinis are hoping that the Leewards' batsmen have weary legs. Will see how Khary Pierre and Cariah face up vs the Leeward batsmen.
