Lol thats not right... CPL don't pay that kind of money.

The highest paid players in the CPL get 160k... unfortunately GAW keep giving ole man Tahir that every year.

I'm 100% sure Joshua Bishop don't get more than 10-20k. Don't know where they got that 110k from.

Hety is actually the third highest paid player in the GAW setup.. his salary is around 100-110k.

Most of the players in the CPL get between 4-30k.

Well something off,
Cause last year, Tahir got 200 K.
He was the highest paid player.

I really can't support the sources.
I just look them up on the net.

The GAW franchise getting away with murder paying their players those meager salaries given how much money that particular franchise brings in.

No?

Tahir is the highest paid player for the GAW. But the highest the CPL allows a team to pay a player is 160k.

Maybe they got some outside deals going on.. usually these Indian bookie franchises got multi-league contracts for some players... that's how they could afford some big names. One example is TKR with Narine and Russell. They retain them in the CPL for a low amout but the overall TKR contract makes up for that.

Didn't know there was a salary cap for the CPL.

Do other lickit leagues have similar caps on player salary?

Its not the franchise fault... CPL is the one who sets the salary cap.

I think CPL is one of the leagues that pay de lowest. Why you think they only attracting a bunch of retired players and people yuh never heard about lol

All de leagues got salary caps. The difference between de others and CPL is they use the auction method to select players vs CPL draft system.

- Under CPL, each round pick got a fixed amount that yuh pay the players...
- With the auction franchises go through a bidding war to get the players... which is why yuh see some players getting some ridiculous amounts in the IPL.

At the end though each franchise gets a salary cap that they cannot exceed.

Didn't the Indians got into a bidding war for Carlos Fcuking Morris and ended up paying him like a million bucks or so? lol

No one had ever heard about this guy before (and since) and the chupidy Indians decided he was worth a million. See why I can't take lickit cricket seriously?

A lot of these leagues pay ridiculous monies for some no name off brand player. A lot of it i think is just ao that player can give back money into the team or so.
I know of a cap at the CPL though I do think some these guys get some other kind of deal as another poster said above. Because a lot of these teams now are also opened by the same owners of IPL teams so yoy see a lot of guys representing basically the same franchise across different leagues.
Though the CPL salaries are the highest I think it's one of the best leagues out there, with players drawn from all across the sporting world.

That’s a lot of money where he comes from.

Also I doubt he has two many other options in that window.

And 3 weeks on a Caribbean holiday. Fully paid and then some.
