Great concept by Michael Johnson. Biggest story of the meet is Gabby Thomas’ 49.1 and beating Paulinho in the process. I s as m predicting that Nigerian turned “Gulf-Arab” runner will test positive for sup’n by World’s in September

Surprised no one covered Carifta '25. Very good meet and the gap between JA and the other nations is closing. It is clear that the coaching in The Eastern Caribbean (mostly Leewards/Windwards) has improved a lot. St. Lucia has another young lady sprint star on the horizon. Hope she gets a scholarship like her compatriot Ms. Alfred. Hoping too that The Bajan Ms. Nurse who ran a stunning 400m relay leg gets a scholarship to the US or A Yard campus with top coaches. Nice to see 'Misfit/TriniBagoans' sisters going home to rep the land of their parents (as Brianna Williams did for Yard). Granite T&F is alive and well in TNT, it is just for the talent to be found and nurtured. Notice two brothers running and their lil sister training hard too.
