I should not have responded to you and quoting Bravo series of low scores, as many batsmen go thru lows in their career. I should have taken a more mature approach and refrain from.your lofty standards.

I have said what needed to be said.
You cannot prepare for a 4-day tournament by playing T10 cricket, thank god there is a break let's hope he stays away from the Keith Boyce tournament and works on the regional 4-dayer.
I have watched the white ball format many Sunday afternoons as a tot, I had two cousins who were good cricketers, one batted at three the other was a wicketkeeper-batsman, both disliked the West Indies.
They never joined a club, even though their area had plenty of BCL clubs, but they enjoyed Sunday afternoon cricket and would take me with them.
The Allan Stanford tournament was what I saw as a little tot, test cricket still is the pinnicle.
It is like watching the Long drive contest in golf or one of the formats at the NBA all-star game.

What's your point exactly? You seems to be rambling.

Lol at 21 or so the most hated current day WI player had 5 or 4 ODI tons to his name. These days he can't even mek a WI XI.

So what does Wickham 4 FC ton have to do with Smith having more runs than him in this tournament?

Go back and read the post tony, where I was reply to the musicman.
You are fickle, one minute you were cheering for Wickham and now you are not.

By the way,the 21 yo that you are referring to never had 4 fc tons before he played for the WI.. He was given a pass to international cricket without this accomplishment.

Doesn't change anything about what I think about Wickham champ.. he's just going through a rough patch he will be fine.

But all of that doesnt change the fact that Odean (the chap who shouldn't play red ball cricket) currently got more runs than Wicknam and nuff other big name batmen. lol
