It must be said. Jason Mohammed 3 in a row centuries including a double- under any circumstances, a batter in this form will walk into WI Test Team. But this may just be too late for Jason given his age.

Kharry Pierre continues to perform well as a spinner.

Lewis and Henry for LI

Brad Barnes 6 wickets haul for Jamaica.

I can only speculate, that his prep after his training in India was a T10 series, the time off will prepare him for the remaining four games.

Batting thus far, led by Jason Mohammed and Johnathan Drakes (373 runs at avg 93, with two 100s & two 50s), with Campbell, Brathwaite and Cephas Cooper following.

With the ball, nine of the top ten bowlers are spinners. Batsmen not improving against the slow stuff! Established names such as Pierre, Cornwall, Permaul and Warrican among those leading the wicket takers charts after three rounds.

I have posted a regional stats leaders after round three here:

In some territories spinners bowl all day on slow lifeless wickets

Just a suggestion: -

When posting here, consider the performances in all three games, where possible.
No use mentioning a player who performed in only 1 game.

For example; I will discount Dasilva and Henry.

Now batsmen: -
Jason Mohammed leads the pack. If this continues he walks into Windies test team
Jonathan Drakes: Similarly, if this continues, he walks into the squad, not necessarily the team
Campbell: he appears to be front-runner for a test return

Others who kind of impress me are:
Hamilton, but I don't realistically think they will consider him.
Cooper...my jury still out.

Now I do not see the need to mention bowlers, cause I am not overly impressed.
Khary Pierre is the only one that shows anything.
He has been consistent thus far.
The other are just jokers, IMO.

As for making the test team,
at this time (after 3 games)
I do not see any changes except, Carty Out and Mohammed in,
unless the selectors grow balls and drop Dasilva for a bastman, (Drakes)
after all, Imlach and Jangoo in the team.

I am waiting to see if the likes of Hope, Chase, Holder, and Greaves returns to this competition.

Is Greaves and Shamar Springer hurt?

BTW:
please do not mention Blackwood.

He looks a better bowler than batsman.

Yet far behind Greaves and Holder for that role in the team.

What has happened to Shamar Springer indeed?? He needed to stand out season again to make my A team squad.

Round 3 standouts for me are Pierre and Cariah. Both bowled extremely well on a dead pitch to clean up the front runners and both outbowled Cornwall who is the regional bully. I apply a 50% discount to all the batters on that pitch as it was tailor made for batsmen. Other than that, probably only Jonathan Drakes was a standout for me. No one else really impressed me in the third round although I will tip my hat to JaMo and Silva for their taking full advantage of the Kittitian gift pitch.

There have been some standouts but until we can get better pitches, all of this data will be questionable. We cannot develop cricket on these poor wickets. I am not an expert but something has to be done to improve our pitches.

A good start would be to fire the curators.

You know, I did the usual copy and paste and it did not work. Obviously, anyone can see that...so why not just search for it in the forum? Or do you need everything handed to you on a silver plate? Lazy bones lol

I do not count Dasilva's twin centuries,
as even me could have made a century on that pitch.

Sorry, no credit for that game to any batsmen.

I will however credit Pierre and Carriah.

Nuances bro.
