Jamaica’s Reggae Girlz head coach Hubert Busby Jr has declared that all objectives were met in the team’s 2-0 victory over Peru in Lima on Sunday. While pleased with the result and the opportunity to rotate the squad, Busby emphasized the need for improvements in front of goal as the team was wasteful with their chances.

He got that right, terrible finishing and the right back was a nice discovery. The left back (Cardoza) is a bit too slow for me and will be exploited by good teams. Was not a fan of the Busby hire but you can see elements of a team that knows how to attack and defend.

What a difference when you select a team without quotas on our diaspora. Consecutive world cup qualification and a 3rd one loading.

As soon as women start to command decent transfer fees, you will hear those on the island calling for "quotas" and "more locals". Most of the cry about having teams comprised only of those on the island is about the money.

Girlz missed out on at least 3 additional goals! Gotta do much better upfront!

That's where Jamaica's future in football lies - the women!
