Classy knock by young Anderson.
His second century for the season and his 4th overall.
Think his name Must now be on the short list for WI selection .

WI team selection... how many young batsmen in the FC setup got 5 FC tons and a 40+ average?
I could only think of Wickham and Kevlon.
What's Carty average? Not Carty alone, it got others... they could walk straight into the side with a 25 average but others must play in the A team... don't worry champ he ain't tekkin one of your bajans spot
In reply to anthonyp
You have time
Day 2
In reply to anthonyp
What iz wrong with this man going into the a side to see what he has against better opposition louis should have instead of playing in tbe test team and i would say the same for wickham and drakes who average 40 .didnt hodge and jangoo perform in the a side before the west indies call up .

Dis is a disaster

Five down
In reply to hubert
Hard to watch - so glad I didn’t go down to Sabina
In reply to Chrissy
The bowling has been good, but the batting has also been very poor. It says a lot about the poor state of our cricket.
26/6
Oh skites Aldane bowled
The worst batting display from di Yard in memory
In reply to NYCGURU
Agree
If they could only surpass the (VOR imposed) 49, then we could call it redemption.
I am not surprised. No mental stamina to stay in the game if batting 2nd and a day n half has passed
8 dong fa spit now ......
In reply to Drapsey
Looks like they won't get to 40 or beat Guyana's 43 some decades ago
In reply to hubert
Wishful thinking I guess.
In reply to Drapsey

In reply to Cricket_101
26 overs to rhatid
In reply to Chrissy
I haven't heard anyone make a post about the Guyana pacer Alimohammed but the very first time I saw him I thought there was someone the selectors can work with.He does have movement and his pace isn't express,he is just the type of bowler we don't pick, all we know is pace and more pace,Alimohammed should be given a chance on an A team as soon as possible.
clataaax Barnes strikes
Nandu gawn fi 7
15/1
In reply to granite
Agree he’s making inroads. No doubt he’ll get more attention when we have the end of round review.
Dem got that big lead and still painting .... steeeups!!!
In reply to Chrissy
I always feel we don't look at the people who depends on swing rather than raw pace,we have had 2 in the past but they only played 10 or 12 tests,if they can bat it is always help.
Day 3
Come on Yard - wickets.
Soon come
In reply to Kay
No wonder folks stop going to cricket. Imagine watching an entire days play and you can't recall one shot that comes to mind.
Tage shoulda blazed a 100 here but still at less than 50 % strike rate, steups. Hard for him to make back senior squad. He should change his game and try out for USA
In reply to jacksparrow
Tage and Blaze in the same sentence. One thing for sure, he would never die of a stroke. Imagine a 400 run lead and he still in the middle blocking.
Smith seem to be getting the ball to move....
Tage pon stage,Nandu nah go do

Very good century
Yes, he made it against good bowling ...
Kirk McKenzie is a very good batsman . He is also very pleasing to the eyes .
An excellent unbeaten century against a very good Guyana bowling attack.
He looks like a capable attacking No 3 batsman.
Kirk along with Anderson and Kevin Wickham from B’dos are 3 young batsmen the Selectors Must seriously be considering.
In reply to Kay
Mann n Man.likemenJoeG are somewhere wondering if
a
This is the start of Kirk learning to build an innings
b. Has he regained form but will tighten up defense and shot selection for long term success.
Heading to watch the replay now
Beats me why they didnt enforce the follow on, now Guyana might end up losing, excellent comeback from the Tallawahs
In reply to Chrissy
Time for them to flop JB.
In reply to Massy
He uglier than Otis.
King, tons my son, tons.
In reply to Massy
He owes me nuff runs. What I like is that he is clearly working on playing spin which was a weakness. There were a few Laralike shots which made me smile.
He needs to start over from ball one and bat all day. Hope men stay with him.
This is a very good knock.
