Silva for that first innings rescue knock
Charles for his bowling today.
Layne and Pittman for their bowling in this match against a team that was regularly scoring over 500 runs
Chase of course. Probably the stand out player of the round
Alimohammed who has been very consistent
Kirk for his great second inning fightback against the front runners
Ryan John for his maiden century and some decent figures

Top guys for me would be (i) Kirk and (ii) Chase in this round

Why would you have Kirk above Chase.
Kirk: - batting 2 off 38 balls & 147; 3.3 overs for 21 with no wickets; and 0 catches
Chase: - Batting 122 off 123; 35.1 overs for 139 runs with 8 wickets; and 1 catch.

So why again is Kirk above Chase in your opinion?

Shadrach Descarte lodged his maiden ton too 119 with 4 wickets . Ryan John got his maiden ton plus 6 wickets in the match. Gilon Tyson bowled 13 overs 5/45.

Descarte and John came in when the WWI was down and scored the runs that determined the match against LWI. Chase performed with both bat and ball, he is probably the best all-rounder in the region, Pittman and Layne had good figures, Mckensie scored a century, but he was under no real pressure, no one expected Jamaica to make those runs.

Seven five wicket hauls were taken, with four going to pace bowlers.

Alimohamed destroyed Jamaica's batting in their abysmal first innings effort at Sabina Park, finishing with 6/17 as Jamaica were skittled for a lowly 44. He took three more wickets in the second innings, to finish with match figures of 9/59, the best of the round.

Eight batsmen managed to reach their century, with Jamaica's Kirk McKenzie making the leading score of the fourth round with his 147, albeit in a losing cause against Guyana.

Two excellent all round performances deserve mention, with Barbados veteran Roston Chase hitting a century and picking up a five wicket haul, whilst Ryan John also hit a century and took 6/63 for Windwards against Leewards.

Anderson is really putting up his hand.
I watched some of his innings this year.
He looks composed.
Last season I have Wickham above him.
This season I rate Anderson ahead of Wickham.

With all these performances,
I am impressed with, in no specific order: -
Chase
Wicklham
Anderson
Imlach
Campbell
Louis
Jason Mohammed
Warrican
Bishop
Jangoo
Blades
Odean (Yes, Odean Smith)

At the same time, I am not happy with, in no specific order: -
Braffit, although he has improved his strike rate, still crampy
Tage, enough said.
Chemar Holder (regressed)
Mootie (still bowling white ball style)
Carty, enough said.

An unnoticed stand-out, it was the first time in a round Jason Mohammed has not scored a century, were the young pacers too hostile for him?

With the above performances WI cricket is poised to be in a very healthy position sooner rather than later .
