Rule for next icc trophy...double headed coin with Indian captain to call for all Indian matches . it is a shame an international organisation like ICC comes up with rules as per BCCI whims and wishes.

When every team went to Pakistan and they came for WC in India...it's a joke India didn't go...worst was...the if India qualifies for semis...it will be played in Guyana rule during t20wc in Caribbean was the best...

If you want to test man's character...give him power..rolleyes

Any time a tournament is played in Asia or in Asia type conditions, India is a smart bet to do well, they have the right type of bowlers for those conditions

Get over it folks.

In principle yes i think India had an advantage by not having to travel around and the solution was to leave out India and add the next team in line.

But principles aside the ICC runs a business and the business model dictated that India must be included at all costs once they qualified in order to maximize income.

BCCI is ICC. ICC is as dead as West Indies cricket and will not be missed just like the West Indies were not missed in Champions Trophy.

All jokes aside.
Having to play all of your games at one location means:-
No traveling issues.
No jet lag.
No acclimatization.
No training issues.

Hindia is getting their way in cricket and that's a shame.
Even Hingland and Ozziland not getting as much treatmment as them.

That's why I dislike the Hindian team.

The real worry now is cricket will be the big loser. Even CRICINFO, all headlines is dominated by things India. Their Indian writers on a daily basis make wild stories about Indian players being the best in everything.

For Indians under 30,, this is all they know.

The cricket world- fans all over, have come to hate India and international cricketers, especially white players from England, Australia, NZ, dislike then with a passion, but they will grind their teeth, and tell the Indian media how great Indian players are and how nice Indian culture is so as not to risk their career.

A true indian cricket fan ...cricket being the keyword will find this victory hollow..ICC series these days are so much tilted in favour of India..it is a joke...will FIFA stoop to such low levels...This is a mafia cartel being run by bcci

I realize that this is only your opinion.
Like most non-expert opinions, your maybe riddled with bias.

I for sure dislike Hindia team, not because of colour, techniques or anything on the field.
I dislike them because of the arrogance of the ir commies,
how people seem to cede to Hinidia
How they dominate the cricket monies
How they get their way in international competition.

I will acknowledge that:-
They have many very players including backups, (biggest pop. in the world).
They play good cricket. (again part of having biggest pop. from which to choose)
They pay well. (lots of Bollywood monies)

I understand not playing in Pakistan, which is a political thing (outside of cricket).

and tell the Indian media how great Indian players are and how nice Indian culture is so as not to risk their career.

Part of trying to ensure one's paycheck.
Notice how even Ian Bishop refuse to speak negative of them even when deserving.

So please note that Hindia has brought some of the criticism on themselves.

I would really like to see a Championship, World Cup or any world competition
where all teams has similar traveling arrangements, training and rest schedules.
I believe that Hindia would not dominate like the recent T20 and Championship tournaments.

Please note that when Windies dominates world cricket,
they suffered severe criticism and crowd bashing, media bashing,
no special travel and hotel accommodations,
even glaring bashing from competitors in the media.
Yet they dominated with proper cricket.

I submit that Hindia do not deserve respect for their winning ways.
especially the last two world tournament wins.

ABH:
Anybody but Hindia
Anybody but Hingland.
I do not hate, but dislike these two teams.

Well England and Australia used to dominate world cricket with little benefit to us. We benefit more from India than we ever did from England and Australia.

but this is about Hindia at present.

I cannot understand why people in the West Indians kiss Hindia's butts.

At least WI dominated on the field in those days.

Now WI just line up for table scraps and hand-outs from the BCCI and barely able to win anything on the field.

Only advantage India has is they are bloody good team with great bench strength. Everything else is sour grapes. They have won 47 out of 53 ICC ODI tournament matches since 2011.

2011 - Title winner
2015 - semi final. Topped the group
2019 - semi final no.1 team in the table. Played 2 day match as one day m atch and got unlucky
2023 - destroyed 10 teams in 10 different cities lost with bad loss of Pandya

2013 CT - winner
2017 CT - finalist
2025 CT - winner

They have a W/L percentage of 6 since 2011. Next best Australia W/L ratio of 2. They have done this in various countries. Instead of examining their own short comings throwing shades on wins of tops teams is nothing but sour grapes.

They dominated in an era when noballs, wides were not scrutinized intensely. I remember a test series in 1997 where West Indies atleast picked 6 or 7 wickets with giant noballs against India. Umpires didn't even spot them. Frankly rose if i amr ight was bowling htem.

WI dominated in the late 70's, 80's and a little bit in the early 90's.

After the loss to Oz 95 it was all over.

If you're referring to the umpiring in India's tour to WI in 97, it was horrendous for both sides. And that was an WI side in decline at that point.

homes, chris gayle was given out to a free hit in a world cup match in 2019. and we dominated everywhere. before the era of independent umpires. West indies were so far ahead of everybody that it took australia close to a decade to catch up and beat us. it took england even longer and india were levels behind, which is why their first win against a wi side in 30 years came at home

I wouldn't say 70s. late 70s till the late 80s. but they did not win a single world cup in the 80s. They did not win benson & hedges either. 75/79 not many were familiar with that format. Gavaskar's 36 is an example. They dominated bilaterals, tests definitely No denying that. But there was no silverware until they won the CT in 2006. Ironically that was not a great team. But they pulled off a miraculous win. Australia is the GOAT tournament side. 1987 won, 1996 final, 1999 won, 2003 won, 2007 won, 2015 won, 2023 won. Only once they lost the final.

You stated....'I cannot understand why people in the West Indies kiss Hindia's butts".

Is this a serious statement.....I know you are not asking a question, but just making an uneducated or innocent statement, whichever is the case.

Just ask the West Indian players who rec'd their livelihood (for themselves and other loved ones) and are well set for their future retirement with HUGE PAYCHECKS from playing in the IPL....In the past, some of these same players played for WI without getting paid and SOME (not all) payments were even made way after the cricket matches were played. Did you forget the strike in South Africa and Bravo's led team in India ?

These WI players would not only kiss Hindia's butts but would willingly and GLADLY clean Hindia's butts if given the opportunity. There is a famous proverbial saying that you hang your mouth where the soup leaks. So yes, kissing Hindia's butts is good. Ask the WI and other International players who are lucky to be selected for the coveted IPL contracts which games are played in HINDIA yes INDIA, INDIA, INDIA !!! I rest my case.
