Boss, we focus too much on the shot-making and not the mental capacity to focus and construct an innings when shot-making, whether by good bowling or an unfriendly pitch, isn't feasible. Our batters lack the application techniques when mental acuity is required.

I wish him all the best and hope he thinks about match situation and pitch condition etc,he could be one of the best. I imagine Johnson and Jewell on a West Indies team in a couple of years, that would be something to watch.

Is Campbell ready for a recall to an opening slot at the expense of KB or M.Louis which of the 2 you would drop.

Is Campbell fit? For the last two matches he was injured or sick in the second innings. He might not be ready for a 5-day match

This is the problem I have with us fans, Johnson has not shown the mental capacity to succeed at cricket as a batter. You are speaking from the shots you have seen him make. What about his judgment? What about his application when he's not on a batting strip or the bowling is nagging?
Johnson/McKenzie - they can pretty much make all the shots, however, mentally, they cannot process at difficult intervals.
