Veteran journalist Owen James died yesterday.

James, a media practitioner for over 50 years, died yesterday.

Oh No..Another former and good colleague .Wow. Lost Leslie Miles a few weeks ago.He was also
of the Daily News team...Still miss Carl Wint and Tony Becca from that team too and
Barbara Gayle.. and of course Ewart Fatz Walters.
I have been blessed to be associated with some fine folks.
My generation is being whittled down but the memories of them all are fond and I know I will
join them at some point. Looking forward to a joyous reunion too.
Thanks for the heads up, Chrissy. Owen James was a special man and despite his calm
demeanor was a toughie and wonderful journalist.
