Tevin Imlach - 113 for Guyana vs Windwards
Justin Greaves - 104 for Leewards vs CC&C
John Campbell - 101 for Jamaica vs WI Academy
Carlon Bowen-Tuckett - 57 & 46* for WI Academy vs Jamaica*

* denotes match still in progress, with Bowen-Tuckett unbeaten overnight.

BOWLING:

Alzarri Joseph 6/35 & 3/19 (Leewards vs CC&C)
Gudakesh Motie 6/38 & 3/44 (Guyana vs Windwards)
Joshua Bishop 5/35 (WI Academy vs Jamaica)
Oshane Thomas 5/36 (Leewards vs CC&C)
Jason Holder 5/52 (Barbados vs T&T)
Chemar Holder 5/107 & 3/64 (CC&C vs Leewards)
Johann Layne 4/50 (WI Academy vs Jamaica)
Veerasammy Permaul 4/55 & 3/56 (Guyana vs Windwards)
Anderson Phillip 4/36 (T&T vs Barbados)
Jediah Blades 4/64 (WI Academy vs Jamaica)
Joshua James 3/8 & 3/16 (T&T vs Barbados)
Akeem Jordan 3/77 & 3/50 (CC&C vs Leewards)

As the stats show, the bowlers had it their way more so than the batsmen in this current round of matches. Only three teams managed to put up totals of 300 or higher, although WI Academy may yet reach that mark as they chase victory over Jamaica in the remaining fixture at Coolidge.

Young Jewel Andrew was the standout for Leewards against CC&C, making 122 (his maiden first class century) and 65 in the match. Imlach, Greaves and Campbell were the only others to score centuries in this round. Carlon Bowen-Tuckett continues to impress and will look to add to his overnight unbeaten 46 against Jamaica, following his first innings half century.

Alzarri Joseph blasted his way back to form with 9/54 in the match against CC&C. His West Indies teammate Gudakesh Motie also took nine wickets for Guyana against Windwards. Joshua Bishop, Oshane Thomas, Jason Holder & Chemar Holder were the other bowlers who claimed five wicket hauls.

With the WI Academy vs Jamaica match ongoing, there remains time for others to add their names to the list but for now, the standouts are as noted.

Needs more than a half century to make the list, despite the troubling conditions. Otherwise, I would be on the computer ALL day, instead of half the day wink

Bowen-Tuckett, although his side ultimately fell short of their target, finished with 70 in the second innings, his second half century of the match. The WI Academy managed to register the 4th 300 or above total of the round too.

Yet another keeper-batsman that is looking good. The entire batting order of the test side needs an overhaul, some of these guys are stepping up whilst Carty, Hodge, Athanaze & Sinclair fade out of form.

Alternatively, do away with the slip cordon and have three keepers behind the stumps, all with gloves on and no excuses for dropped edges lol

True a lot of wicketkeeper/batsman options. Imlach is the incumbent and he has performed well enough to keep his spot. The others like Joshua, Jewel, Hamilton and Tuckett may have to fight for a batting spot like Jangoo.

He was steady, as he has been in taking several wickets in most of the games. Not exactly what I personally would describe as a stand out performance though.

AliMohamed reminds me of the South African, Mr Kallis. Very unassuming but gets the job done unnoticed
