What has kind of deterred me from looking at cricket is when I see how Kraigg Brathwaite, after playing nearly 100 Tests, still does not know where his off stump is and getting bowled down consistently.

how he isn't ashamed of that speaks volumes

I agree with Mr Gabriel's comments. It's been said that Mr Brathwaite patterned his batting style on Mr Chanderpaul. If that is or was the case, he(Mr Braithwaite) did not pay enough attention. Mr Chanderpaul shifted gears.

Maybe he envisioned himself to be as resolute as Shiv, because Shiv had shots all around the wicket, including a very nice cover/extra cover drive lofted or along the ground

As a long-time fan of Kraigg, dating back to his U13 days, I've followed his progress closely, even sharing links to his matches weekly. However, seeing him score 175 not out over two days against England at the Mecca was disappointing.
Getting bowled out twice like an amateur, especially after over 90 Test matches, shows that he hasn't developed as a player. At this point, I cannot defend his performance.
