You know...I interact with some ahem 'non-white folks' here who would take medical advice from a white truck driver over that of a black doctor. Nuff said. They feel that they are white-adjacent. Just went through the linked 'slider' and there was not a single reference to the accomplishments of 'famous' foreign-born people of color (let's ignore Sammy Sosa for this purpose, he's actually Hispanic).

An article about the baseball great Jackie Robinson's time in the Army has been removed from the Department of Defense's website.

The new webpage URL, now adding "dei" to the link, shows a "404 - Page Not Found" error, implying the change is connected to President Donald Trump's executive order on diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The article titled, "Sports Heroes Who Served: Baseball Great Jackie Robinson Was WWII Soldier," mentioned Robinson's time in the Army, when he was drafted in 1942. The original article is still readable through Archive.org.

Also part of the purge of Jackie Robinson's history of military service were pieces published on the Army and the Air Forces' websites.

A search of the Army's website for "Jackie Robinson" found 18 results. Of those 18 articles, 14 of them have now been deleted.
