Surprising that Guyana didn't pick Jonathan Van Lange... he should have been there ahead of Ramsammy or Sukhwa.

I'm really excited to see this league. The new breed. And also good to see a fee 'old heads' who have been around but never really got a chance to represent. Really hope they able to showcase their talent to their fullest extent.
Guessing the games will be on YouTube and hope able to have real time match update and analysis info.

goolie is a future test WI batsman.....i dunno what he doing here, i would hate for his powers of concentration to be decimated by only being able to bat for 14 or 15 overs.

Talk with Jumpy, he is the one who moved on from Jump and Wave cricket.
It took me more than 60 years to see that miracle, I am a believer.big grin

There are differences, Ganga's team was like an old developed squad, with the best leader in the region, I rate Darren Ganga and the Johnson from Guyana as two leaders who think of teams instead of individuals.
The Selection of Raymond Reifer and now Shayne Moseley to bat at #3 for any team is the difference between Kraigg Brathwaite's and Darren Ganga's leadership.

I have been keeping a tab on Goolie since 2016 under-19 World Cup.....he along with Imlach, that brilliant runout of Pant, Chemar Holder and few others were unsung heroes....all limelight were hogged by Hety,Joseph and Keemo....

Be that as it may, Goolie is modern Larry Gomes....severely underrated...bowls spin and bat lefty... pugnacious...at times strokeful.....played local t-20 leagues...when not selected by T&T......

Nothing to worry, he learnt his tricks hard ways....modern cricketer must play different formats, to develop all round games....

It's unfortunate, how Chemar has been treated by CWI and now BCA.....most fast bowlers found it difficult because of Kookaburra ball....was dropped..Not selected...given on loan to CC& C..takes 5-fifer...Irony, his replacement McAllister...falter big...in last match...who knows the result, if Chemar has played for Bim....

What's wrong with batting 14 to 15 overs these days? Some fellas getting millions to face 10 to 20 balls and hit as many sixes as possible.

Yes good idea this not sure how the viewership will go as these are just budding stars. Thought we could find a place for Colin Archibald? Left arm seamer who bats and I guess no room for Kelvin Pittman the quick from Antigua. I guess Kenneth is Cameron Pennyfeather? Looks a good prospect.

: Kenneth Pennyfeather (27), Keacy Carty (27), Kofi James (27), Karima Gore (26), Mikyle Louis (24), Jewel Andrew (1cool, Micah McKenzie (1cool, Nathan Edward (19), Giovonte Depeiza (22), Anderson Mahase (22), Michael Palmer (19), Jamie Cornelius (26), Jaden Carmichael (21), Jedidiah Martin (26)

Should be interesting viewing.
