Brilliant play by T&T. Yorke proving his doubters wrong.

That's my choice for WC qualification. Yorke knows his stuff and T&T has a
special little brand of football and expresses it well.
Don't take your eyes off the Trinis. smile

An ugly win by Yard, but it was better than a pretty loss!

Dixon and Whisper represent the future! Add Brown, too!

Allyuh must be watching something entirely different yes.

The standard of football in that game yesterday was abysmal. I was wondering if maybe I'm spoilt by watching EPL, La Liga etc every weekend and expecting the same from our players.

But no......this is basic stuff.

Cuba played with a man down for 88 minutes. And while the scoreline showed 4-0......T&T was NOT impressive at all. Far from it.

The positives? The right back can cross a ball. Young Spicer has "Something".

The negatives?
We depending on 3 players who each are nearly 40 years old as the core of the team. Lee....who scored twice....had an open goal with no one else around him....and by open....I mean literally....the keeper was out of the frame.....and he somehow managed to hit the bar from 5 yards out. SMH.

Our team has no spacing. Or maybe more accurately.....we give too much space. We are not compact.....we are disorganized.....our players are technically deficient.....and we play with an alarming lack of intensity.

Love my country....will always support my team.....but I callin it as I see it. We simply don't have the players and from what I can see....the team structure...to be successful.

If we played SVG....I would not be surprised if they beat us handily.

No need to be so harsh to a team that has experienced so much turmoil in the last 10 years, the fact that we seem to now be heading in the right direction says a lot for Yorke and for the players at his disposal.Even with the last coach we were showing small signs of improvement, with Yorke in charge it loooks even better, you have talked about players who shouldn't be in the team because they are in their late 30s,those players Molino and Jones can easily be 2 of the best we have ever had on a TT team, you can't leave them out in a time of rebuilding, their experience is needed for now, surely they are not 90 minute players, later if we qualify for WC 26,and even in the GC they won't be 90 minute players.I am sure you are aware of teams using experience and youth as a good combination when needed.
The one complaint about the game as far as TT was concerned was the amount of chances and half chances we threw away, from what I saw we could have scored easily another 4 or 5,final score should have been 8 -0,I'm being kind here.

Your words about TT football are very dis-heartening,even the Jamaicans have had nice words about TTs improvement, you can't say they don't know something about football, they have the best team in the whole Caribbean and more, whether English,French, Spanish or Dutch speaking they are the best.
