A Trini doctor received the prestigious Norman Dott Medal for outstanding performance in the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons Neurosurgery Examinations.He is 37 year old Dr,Panduranga Seetahal-Maraj.[b]He received the highest marks overall in the UK.[b]

If that wasn't a good enough achievement another Trini Anthony Vhani Capildeo has won the Prestigious Windham-Campbell Award for Poetry,she will receive $175,000 to help continue her work.The name Anthony is a bit strange but the picture was definitely a female.Well done and good news about Trinidad is welcome.
