When all the odds were considered, you did your very best. You carried yourself with dignity throughout, and you cannot be faulted for not trying. And, quite unlike many leaders in our parts, you stepped down when you knew it was time to. Mere statistics does not always reveal the entire picture, and yours is one such case.

I don't expect to see many contributors here as he is probably the most hated and unappreciated West Indies cappo in history, nonetheless you are quite right. the test team is in a better position since his tenure.

Respect! Well said.

I honestly believe Kraigg tried his best and always put WI (and Barbados) 1st.

Yes, much respect for Kraigg, he did the best he could with what he had, all through his reign as captain he had teams that were not the best eleven players from the WI, and he had wins against opponents that most fans were not expecting the WI to win.

The entire team is in flux ......no single batter can claim to be automatic choice in test team....even his own place is debatable..... This never happened during Gayle,Sammy,Ramdin or Holder.....

Every captain won few memorable wins.....but the team Braithwaite built..... non-existent batting team....

Well done Paint. The team punched above it's weight under Paint, even though no outstanding batsmen emerged during his tenure.

I think he sipped well from what became a poisoned chalice. But then again
I always had a soft spot for Paint. His tenure should be appreciated.

Kraigg, in my opinion got the best out of his bowling attack and the most memorable one for me was when he kept Shamar in the attack against Oz in that famous final test.
At the time I recall thinking if it was Jason he would have removed him and bowled himself.

Got my point wrong bro! One of the main legacy of captain or coach is........what he leaves behind...the test team is totally in flux......from 1-6 ....not a single batter can claim to be a auto selectee.....Braithwaite own position is in doubts...

As for punching above....

Gayle recorded victory against South Africa in South Africa, drew series against New Zealand in New Zealand.....

Sammy...beat Bangladesh in Bangladesh, defeated New Zealand at home, drew Pakistan series at home....

Holder...defeated England in England after 17 years...
Beat Pakistan in Dubai....

Braithwaite...beat Bangladesh in Bangladesh....beat Australia in Australia after 27 years..beat Pakistan in Pakistan...

Odd victories ....under all captains....

But looking at teams left behind.... unfortunately, Braithwaite worst....test team totally in shambles...
