What kind of resisting he did when Sammy was in control and the team rose up to top 3.

Amazing that you would spout this garbage over and over despite the facts.

No other Coach has been able to get T20 players like Hope and King to sign on to the Test team!

Sammy's WI world cup champion teams contained seasoned world class players.

How many world championships did these seasoned players win by themsleves?

i mean as captain....sammy was lucky to have the bet t20 batsman in the world in gayle, the best finisher in pollard, the best spinner in narine and the best allrounders in Dwayne Bravo and later Dre Rus. In addition to trhat, he had the core of the TT red force t20 team that dominated t20 cricket from 2008-2013. My grandmother whose dead could have captained that team. If your argument is that they needed a leader, thats hogwash. we reached the semis of the 2009 tournament with gayle as captain where we were beaten by an SL spin attack that was bamboozling everybody....in fact that same attack bamboozled us in the 2012 final. the only difference was that Marlon Samuels was there, and marlon was an excellent player of pace and spin. he wasn't there in 2009. And narine wasn't there in 09 or 2010.

Again how many World championships did these BEST Men win without Sammy?

Also guess who convinced Russell to come back and play for West Indies?

How many tournaments did Gayle, bravo, pollard, Narine, Dre rus, ramdin and co win without Sammy would be a more appropriate question. Bravo won 2 CPLs as captain, Gayle won 2, ramdin won 2 CT20s as captain of TT and finished in the semifinals of the champions league. Sammy never even reached the final of the ct20 and lost badly in the 2020 final

True, but no one argue against Sammy’s leadership ability and technical acumen.

Sammy was tactically inept. You as well as I know Sammy took Daren Ganga’s philosophy from the Red Force and applied it to the WI side. Ganga was the first dude since Martin Crowe to start using a leg spinner in the power play. Even Sri Lanka in their run to the WC final in 2009 used Malinga and Angelo Matthews as their opening bowlers, despite having murali and Mendis in their lineup . Sammy copied that from Ganga, used it with Badree in the WT20. We all agreed after the 2021 WT20, that that philosophy had its limits and had been found out, even Ganga himself. Sammy was still using that in the World Cup last year with failing results

In reply to Jumpstart So what is wrong with taking winning aspects of a successful captain?

Bravo won 2 cpls as captain, ramdin won 2 ct20s as skipper, in addition to three cold as a regular WK/batsman, and played a vital role in the 2017 final. Russell has won two CPLs and an IPL, Gayle has won a two CPLs and a Wisden trophy as test skipper, Narine has won three IPLs and three CPLs….in all three IPLs I believe he was player of the tournament. And Gayle, Bravo, Pollard, Dre Rus and Narine were friends, very good friends at that, no doubt forged by their battles with CWI. My granny could have captained that team and she has been dead for almost a decade. The side was like a t20 cheat code
