West Indies needs a rejuvenation of Jamaican cricketers with both bat and ball, a weak Jamaican cricket, usually means a weak West Indies team. Significantly, in this case where there are currently no Yardies players selected to the WI Test team, which continues its downhill in ICC rankings.

No Yardies, No West Indies test team success! Case in point, Yardie Captain took West Indies T20 team from 9th position to 3rd in ICC ranking.
