indeed. another one in a great lineup of TT coaches. i hope he doesn't have a fall out with the ttcb because Merv Dillon similarly finished second in the 4-day champs and was gone the minute they had an issue

Really?

Has T&T won the regional championship since the onset of his tenure?

We just lost a match in 3 days scoring below 200 in each innings and dropping several catches during the opposition turn at bat.

How does that translate into him taking a bow?

Or is it that our cricket standards are so low that any whiff of success is worthy of credit?

Too early to say, let him build up his coaching experience first before singing any praise or prematurely trying to rate/judge ghim.

I can tell you the beat dong by Jamaica was not pretty in the manner in which they were beaten and if there were journalist asking serious questions, he would have a lot to answer.

yeah....it was ghastly....they lost once they allowed ja to reach 370. bcl academy is a seaming wicket that has bounce....bowlers doh exactly need to bend their backs to get it to reach the awkward spot between the head and shoulders.

Winnings and losing is no doubt an important parameter.........but can we ignore the fact...

1. For last several years, T&T performance in red ball cricket is poor.

2. Championship ranking varies from bottom to second but last.

3. Emrit took over as coach ....last moment.

4 T& T performance has been top notch.....has real chance of winning...

5.Team has played with unity and purpose....players old & new have responded positively....Jason to James....Goolie, my boy , finally got the opportunity and showed his calibre... unfortunately, got injured..

I repeat, a good coach...apart from win.... build a team with core players...who could play for coming years...Emrit did it ....in very little time, he got...

One more year...several current T&T players would be in line for red ball selection...A team & senior Team...

To me that achievement is bigger than any champion...
