the academy side has had some good perfomances this season even though they have not won alot.

The WWI was playing poorly before Athanaze returned from Pakistan and took over the captaincy, management should be looking at the coaching staff preparation of the team.

Neither athanaze or hodge should be in the test side

Athanaze's last Test inning he scored a fifty, so he will be picked for at least the next Test. However, he is very inconsistent in Test and first/class cricket.

different strokes for different folks i see. ramdin's last test innings was a half century against australia and he was dropped....at 30 years old. Chris gayle's last test innings was also a half century. WI retain players based on the following criteria and in this order........1)Passport.......2)minimal island area..........3)consistency.........4)talent

how can a man who is averaging about 20 in the fC season live off a half century in his last test???? is it that we must assume he only performs on the international stage despite the evidence to the contrary??

Well, he is looked at as the future of WI cricket, since being promoted to international cricket he has become inconsistent. However, the WWI just crashed out in a loss in less than 2 days, season over, the coaching staff should be questioned.

Windwards definitely have some issues as the talent is there but they are too inconsistent. Athanaze is a major disappointment with all that talent he should be dominating regionals.

Well played WI Academy on a deserved win. Carlon Bowen Tuckett 45 and 9 dismissals as wicketkeeper is one for the future. He says he wants to emulate his Godfather Ridley so that is good to hear. Surprised he was not selected for the T20 tournament for the emerging players as he rotates the strike well. Johann Layne's 6/ 30 off 13.1 overs really needs to be on that A Team tour.
