I was just following the WI-W match against Ireland-W and Matthews stepped up as captain, taking the final wicket in what was a close and exciting match. WI Women won by 6 runs. She really has stepped up as a leader and player. However, she needs more support from the players in the batting department.

Her personal performance is world class.....but captaincy is very very poor.....I watched the entire match.... West Indies was winning easily, when she chose to bowl about to ....bowling Alleyne....was nothing short of madness....

@onionmano You are behaving like a little catty girl. Do you even understand the game? Haley is carrying this team on her back. As she goes so does the team. As a leader in a team of poor talent, you have to do what you have to do. You have to step up to the plate in crucial times. The buck stops with you.
