Exactly did the Guyana players do that they are being accused of tampering?

Question for the whiners. What...
In reply to Larr Pullo
Thats's what fans are wanting to know also...
All we've heard is that the 'tampered with' ball was taken out of service, and the batting team was allowed to select another ball of their choosing, on both occasions..
Come in Jumpy... what have you heard..?
One Tit said that they found objects in their pockets.. still waiting for him to post a link to support that claim.
In reply to Elsie
Didn’t the players plead guilty? Maybe you should be asking them.
What did they plead guilty to.
I have been asking this question from day one. What exactly was done to the ball.
I heard they bowled a ball they found in the trench near the ground.
In reply to Curtis
A trench in Tittieland is called a "river".
Since some mudheads are saturated with mud and gats difficulty with comprehension, here's an explanation again:
However, Guyana's title win was overshadowed as veteran spinner Veerasammy Permaul and top-order batsman Kevlon Anderson were fined by CWI for level-two offences related to "changing the condition of the ball in breach of Law 42.3. of the Laws of Cricket."In an April 14 CWI release, Shallow congratulated Guyana on their title-clinching feat. However, he condemned the behaviour of the aforementioned players.
For the level-two violation on the first day of the match, Permaul was fined 75% of his match fee. The charge was laid by on-field umpires Christopher Taylor and Kashif Sandy after the end of the first day. Permaul admitted to the offence and accepted the sanction proposed by match referee Michael Ragoonath, and as such, there was no need for a formal hearing.
Meanwhile, Anderson was fined 90 per cent of his match fee for a similar offence on day three on April 11 during TT's second innings. Anderson accepted the sanction proposed by the match referee, and as such, there was no need for a formal hearing
Meanwhile, Guyanese allrounder Ronaldo Alimohamed was fined 65 per cent of his match fee for also a level-two breach of the CWI Code of Conduct. The medium pacer breached Article 2.1–2.5; Paragraph 3.6 of the Code of Conduct – "Throw the ball (or any other item of cricket equipment such as a water bottle) at or near player or official in an inappropriate and/or dangerous manner."
When asked, the umpires said they were not permitted to comment and that they should speak with CWI.
Speaking to Newsday at the end of the match on April 12, Guyana captain Tevin Imlach said he didn't want his team to be seen as cheaters. "(It does put a bit of a taint on the title). It's something you don't want to be known for," Imlach said. "You don't want to play cricket that way where you're being accused of stuff like that.
In reply to sgtdjones
is not ttcb or QPCC charged them with the offense.....its the umpires employed by CWI. i knew they were interfearing with ball early o clock. 1st session was overcast, but paul was reversing it in the first session of a fc game.......thank god he and the rest of the bowlers were/are slowpokes. we'd have been in proper trouble if shamar was playing and bowling at his regular pace
In reply to Jumpstart
These Guyanese posters say the Tits are complaining but I don't see many complaints by us,the fact is,if it was the other way around this MB wudda be on fire.
In reply to granite
True that.
In reply to Larr Pullo
So should we be whining?
In reply to Larr Pullo
Guyana didn't do anything it's all make up lies by the Tits.
In reply to Larr Pullo
No details on the tampering can be found even by the tits.
They probably applied spit on the ball.
In reply to googley
In another thread, according to our good friend natty_forever, Imlach made a comment about “sunblock” getting on the ball.
What I surmised from that is that the sunblock from the players face with sweat unintentionally got on the ball by doing what cricketers do, wiping the sweat off their faces and applying to the ball in a habitual way.
In reply to granite
Yuh swear is de tits through TTCB and QPCC charge the guyanese players eh. Christopher Taylor(one of the on field umpires) is Jamaican and a sometime analyst on SportsMax.
In reply to googley
Do you mud heads understand the game?
The umpires made the allegations, and your players pleaded guilty.
T&T has fck all to do with this...Its a CWI decision.
But morons are focused on T&T.
In reply to StumpCam
what i surmise is harpy eagles is a side of ole tiefs, not even good tiefs because 3 of their players got tampering...usually is only be one
In reply to Jumpstart
It is not ole tief ..they are fcking stupid to be caught.
Brilliance is not applicable to some of the eagle players.
Notice how these mudheads keep obfuscating; it shows guilt.
In reply to sgtdjones
Please point out to me where i point fingers to the tits.
All inquiring minds want to know what exactly were the guilty actions. Add sunblock to the ball?
Now don't go pointing to the CWI for details as they closed the case...you are the one stomping your feet crying "cheats"

In reply to Jumpstart
I guess neither of you have played competitive cricket in your life, so you wouldn’t understand.
Let me ask you this, so you’re saying that after one player was caught “ cheating “ by the umpires, then a second player went ahead and intentionally committed the same infraction??? Highly unlikely! That’s is why I believe on both occasions it was an unintentional act!
Obviously, the Umpires and match referee came to same conclusion and no further action was warranted.
You chaps need to be less emotional and show better reasoning.
In reply to Larr Pullo
Storm in a teacup…
Guyana were by far the best team and are deserving champions….
In reply to StumpCam
Obviously, the Umpires and match referee came to same conclusion and no further action was warranted.
This is logical...

Agreed!

3 of the Eagles team pleaded guilty; they must have violated the regulations. They got caught cheating? the dumb muddies

What they are, only CWI knows.
Pandit Mudhead read the above its self explanatory...

dem boys rub doubles on d ball

In reply to SnoopDog
Just came from Dominica where they call it a "reeva".
They even 'bave' in eet.

(Just like Darreen Sammy oui)
In reply to Curtis
I remember the first time I vacationed in Tittie dem locals promised to take me on a "river lime".
We eventually stopped by a small creek and everyone got out. It was only then that I realized we were at the "river".
In reply to sgtdjones
Easy target as Tits generally take a laid back attitude to cricket because they have some much mor to offer unlike other states for whom cricket is the be all and end all of life.
Using sweat on a cricket ball is allowed. But applying saliva to the ball has been banned since the 2020 covid pandemic. Applying sunscreen to the ball is banned, so a player lathered with sunscreen on face and arms should be careful not to put sweat mixed with sunscreen on the ball. I suspect that applying sunscreen changes the aerodynamics of the ball, but natural sweat does not.
In reply to sgtdjones
Last question for you...are they dumb because they got caught or cause they "cheated?"
In reply to SnoopDog
Anywhere watah flow is a river! I hope you made it happened!

In reply to PalsofMine
We have always had world class cyclists,we have qualified for hockey WC s,and football WC and Gold Cups.Jamaica has now taken over as the best in football we are 2nd best,we once shared Netball World Champions in 79 with New Zealand, tell me what I miss,we don't do too badly in Athletics, they only play cricket and still they end up being unfair, leave dem alone.
In reply to SnoopDog
Sadly , you missed the gist of what T&T calls a river lime.
It's not the river; it's the company of friends and family. They cook, drink, and enjoy music.
It's often in remote locations.
If they want to swim, they go to the Gulf of Paria, the Atlantic Ocean, the Columbus Channel, and the Caribbean Sea.
The water is not mud brown as your seawall Atlantic Ocean.
In reply to googley
If you are going to cheat , dont get caught...so you now can classify those dumb 3 rasses

Are you going to cleanse them by doing a puja...

In reply to Larr Pullo
What they did is that they farted on the bowl
In reply to shivnotout
Chicken curry is more like it
In reply to WI_cricfan
Without the details of the offence(s) I too am bemused as to the
guilty plea. Picking the seam of the ball or putting substance such as vaseline or even
spit,is not allowed. Sweat when applied is ok from what I know previously.
In any case, Guyana were so much better than all the teams throughout the season, that
the case seems meritless. Well deserved three-peat champs/
In reply to shivnotout
And Hettie was even there!

In reply to hubert
Could it be because they got the ball to do more than the other teams?
In reply to natty_forever
Or maybe, they made more runs than the other teams!
In reply to StumpCam
That's a given.
